1969 DARU began business when civilians saw that the Imperial County was in desperate need for a volunteer Search and Rescue team.  Since 1969, DARU has volunteered countless hours serving the Imperial Valley.  Thanks to your donations, you have kept us alive.  In return for your donation, we are on call day or night, work day or holiday, 365 days a year to work our hardest to saving your life or someone else's life.   We Thank you.
